THE YEAR I TURNED 25

This year has been such an incredible year for me. I rang in the New Year and my birthday in Israel. It was so refreshing to spend 10 days with 40+ strangers turned some of the closest friends I have that I will always share such a special experience with. I came back to the United States extremely jetlagged but also with a whole new perspective on what I wanted to do with my life. It was truly a life changing trip in every way possible.

I came back knowing that I wanted to spend every second being a family + birthday + nonprofit photographer in both San Francisco and Southern California. When I was in the desert, my friend Alex and I were talking about what our words of the year would be. I decided mine would be to grow. I want to grow in my professional life as well as my personal life. Last year I spent 90% of my days working (not photo jobs) and only took one vacation for a weekend. I want to enjoy what I'm doing.

A lot has changed for me since going to Israel at the end of December. I am now living in a studio apartment without roommates (which has been a dream of mine since I was in high school), I am slowly becoming a plant mom and wanting a lot of greenery and life around me, I am making sure I'm putting effort into all of the relationships that are important to me, but most importantly I am putting an incredible amount of work into my photography business.

Lots of good things are coming but while you wait, here are some of the beautiful people and places I saw in Israel captured on my iPhone.
