LOVERS AND THEIR BABE IN LOVER'S LANE

We had Lover’s Lane all to ourselves on this Saturday morning! It was so much fun exploring with Colton, who was unsure of me at first which is so funny since I’ve photographed him a few times this year. I also run into him and his parents all the time since we’re neighbors so hopefully he’ll give me the high five he owes me the next time I see him haha! These parents are some of my favorites and so silly. They would do anything to make their kiddo laugh which I love so much!

FORMAL MORNING AT THE PALACE OF FINE ARTS

This fancy beautiful family spent their mini session with more of a formal portrait session. If you know you only want happy smiling at the camera photos for as long as the kids (and pup) can go, mini sessions are a great choice! If your kiddo takes a while to warm up and you’re looking for more candid and playful photos, a full session is definitely the way to go. Do what works best for your family!

PALACE OF FINE ARTS ALL TO OURSELVES

I’ve known this family since this little guy was a few months old! It’s so much fun to celebrate such big milestones with them like his baptism and his first birthday. We got to explore the Palace of Fine Arts on a Monday morning and it was completely empty! It was so much fun, and I’m so glad I got to see them for the 3rd time this year! Clients that turn to be friends are my favorite.

COUSINS EXPLORING LOVER'S LANDE

These two sisters booked back to back mini sessions so that they could grab some cousin pictures in between. I love that idea! Having a full session for multiple families and little ones usually ends up with a shorter session for each family, then the whole group, and then the kids. Especially with the little ones, they don’t want to be in front of the camera for hours (usually). We did this little guy first so he could explore and play, then he got a second wind when he got to see his cousins, and then we did the older kids who can get it done a little faster than little ones who have their own agenda.

JUMPING INTO FOUR

When your kiddo is turning another year older and they have lots of energy, take them to House of Air! The perfect place to jump around with your friends, then take a pizza break, sing happy birthday and then you're all done. It's so nice that you just have to bring in some food, a few plates, napkins and drinks for kids (and adults). It's an easy way to have a really great and memorable birthday party!

SANTA CAME TO SAN FRANCISCO

This was my third year photographing Santa at Dottie Doolittle. Being Jewish, I didn’t experience the joy of meeting Santa, but it was so sweet watching these little ones go through so many feelings when meeting Santa. Some laughed, some cried, some slept and some even brought their lists! It was a great way to wrap up my year. Thank you so much Dottie Doolittle for letting me be apart of the magic you give to the kids.

YOU ONLY TURN ONE ONCE

You only turn one once! I love my one hour birthday sessions because they are so perfect for some family photos with parents and the grandparents that drove or flew over for this very special event. It’s important to document these special moments, especially because this is just the beginning! You’re going to want to show pictures of that first taste of sugar, the adorable outfit you picked out for your kiddo and just how chunky their cheeks were!

FAMILY TIME WITH THE GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE

This family of three was so much fun to have in front of my camera! They were such troopers when the intense wind that picked up that made it so unbelievably cold. When that happens, I love getting everyone together to snuggle in tight and then give their littles kisses. It’s so fun to watch the kids love it and then after a while push them away because they can’t take anymore love. It is so funny to watch!
